Kawana is a display typeface inspired by Inca architecture, particularly the trapezoidal shapes formed by the windows and doors throughout the buildings of the Inca Empire.
The trapezoid shape is integrated into each letter's design, either through negative space or as part of the letter itself, without sacrificing legibility.
Kawana is still in development and will be available on December 2025
